The cost of living in Manila is much lower than most of the 134 cities surveyed
by the Economist Intelligence Unit. Notably, respondents in Southeast Asia find
it much cheaper to live Manila compared to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and
Singapore.
