|
Traffic: |
In town during school beginning or letting out
it's very heavy. But the town is
very small so it doesn't take long to get through it. |
|
Public Trans: |
In town a lot of tricycles, no taxis, no buses
except to go out of town
and no jeepneys. |
|
Stores: |
Plenty of local markets and older, what could
have been early malls. There
is one new modern mall but very small. It has a supermarket
with-in the
mall but not a lot of foreigner type foods. No good steak. There
is a new
mall being built, small though. |
|
Comment:
This is a small town with very little night life
for a foreigner, clubs, bars dance halls or what
ever. We do have Jollibee, Chow King and some other
Filipino fast food restaurants. There are no western
style
restaurants as yet. My biggest complaint is the mass
of tricycles, and they own the road. There are no
taxis in this town and no bus system and no jeepnies
except to travel to another town.
