Post by: hitekcountry on March 21, 2014, 08:39:12 AM
On The Job -- A Pilipino film that premiered at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

This is an Action packed movie about two hired assassins that work for a group of corrupt politicians.

I copied a few of the comments on the movie:

“  i am more than impressed. great film! joel torre and joey marquez's acting is award winning!”

“great movie, and great music too”

“Best Filipino movie I've seen in years.. don't really like watching Tagalog films but this one is remarkable. “

“yeah, i dont like to watch filipinos movies too, cause most films are very predictable and boring. but this one i considered. cause of the great reviews from the international movie experts.. so i had to look.. and i was not disappointed.. a rare gem from philippine film history.”

I downloaded this, haven't watched the whole thing yet but what I have it is pretty good. All about the corrupt system. It is in Tagalog but has English subs.

The movie was good, but the ending was obvious!
Those English subtitles distracted me though!  ::)
