jumping ship in New York
« on: March 07, 2015, 03:21:58 PM »
A Filipino jumped ship while in dock at New York City. He managed to find an illegal job straight away at the port. After his first day's work he walked the streets looking for some familiar food but all he could find were Mexican, Japanese, Cuban,Greek restaurants so he did not eat. After a second day's work he was starving but walking the streets for a second night he failed to find any Philippine cuisine. After a third day's work he was so hungry he was ready to sample some of this unfamiliar food but at last he saw a sign saying "hot dog". Almost starving he ordered 3 portions of hot dog but when it was served to him he opened the hot dog bun and was utterly dismayed saying "sorry, in the Philippines we don't eat this part of the dog" !!!
