Confused by all the local names for fish?  Here\'s a neat little search engine that identifies fish by the local names and corresponding technical names as well as alternate names, and pictures of the fish.  Handy for those wishing to go angling for lapu lapu (grouper), tanguigui (wahoo/mackerel) and many others.

Glad to see they do have some bass fishing in the PI. Most people dont know, but here in South Korea we also have some nice sized largemouth Bass. I\'ve caught some in the 6-8 pound range, but have seen some over 10 pounds at the KBA sponsored tournaments. Now I can\'t wait to get my boat out on the lake this spring. Thanks for the links... 8)
