Hahahaha!   No Louie, just tiny little North Vietnamese heads... at night.    :o
The purpose of the large optics was to allow in as much ambient light as possible, then have it amplified by the electronics.  I could see pretty good at night out to about 500 meters, but it wasn\'t my favorite way to operate.

That\'s a dang nice M4 you have in that photo!   8)
We have to talk some day, in private of course, about how you got it there.  ;)

Gray Wolf,
Gun in pic is not mine, therefore, can\'t discuss how it got there.  ;)

Do you know your scopes? Could you tell me what this is for?

Here are a couple of pics from 2006 PMA competition. Around 500 competitors from
around RP and overseas ( I didn\'t compete, just people I know)

There were some female shooters there as well (I don\'t know them)

There is another one coming up in October, if anyone is into this sport there.

Holy Mackerel, Louie!!   :o  :o  ???  ??? I wouldn\'t know where to start!

But as near as I can tell, the main scope has some additional \"accessories\", one of which may be a night vision add-on.  Lots of lights, too.  I\'d hate to be the target he\'s looking for.   ;D

The scopes and lights probably weigh twice as much as the basic weapon.  Maybe he should mount this on his Jeep.   ;)

This guy certainly doesn\'t have any limitations to his firearms budget!   :D :D ;D ;D ;D
