Moving to cebu
« on: July 31, 2013, 09:01:29 AM »
The bombing last week at a restaurant I frequent is the last straw, I am leaving CDO and moving to Cebu.  If anyone knows of a decent walled in small house I would appreciate any tips, prices would be nice also.  I am planning on coming over this weekend to look around for a place.

Thanks in Advance

The place can be in town as long as its a safe area, But I am not against the country either as I have a car.  Would like to have a place with either a car port or better yet a garage.

If you know of anything please let me know.

Just wondering why you think you will be any safer in Cebu City

What happened in CDO can happen anywhere in the Philippines and usually does even our small city has had it share of assassinations, murders, and strafings with the occasional NPA fire fight or taxi and truck burnings over the last couple of years it's part of living here

I guess next month would be a good time to stay in hotels in CDO - bargains! :D

Guys,

This was an orchestrated hit. It was done to eliminate a specific Councillor
not a random bombing. Only Filipinos were targeted.
No "round eyes" were injured. I suspect it was planned that way.

The new Mayor has been having many death threats against him because
he went up against, and won, from an established identity. The Councillor
was also newly elected.
