I just tried my Firefox browser with the add-on extension, "Media Hint 0.1.13.0" and it works with  http://www.fox.com/  but was being blocked on my Google Chrome and IE9 browser without a proxy server! This pops up on the video,
"The video you are attempting to watch is only available to viewers in the U.S., U.S. territories and U.S. military bases".

Try the sites I mentioned above.  They allow us to get around that junk.  I tried the whole vlp thing with proxy changes and all that, but the speeds here are slow enough already and the proxy changers only slow it down more unless you want to pay money.  The 2 sites I offered above will allow you to watch the game.  I'm betting over 20 links to choose from for an event at big as the SB.  Pic the one you enjoy most and watch the game.

Wiziwig works but I use     http://sportlemon.me/     now for sports. Can be a problem streaming if your connection is not good.
One useful thing is that it sees your PC time and adjusts the times of the viewing accordingly for your zone: it will show you the correct time that coverage starts for your area.

Since living here in the Philippines for so long, I've just lost interest in football (not keen with soccer) and any U.S. sports except for maybe the new all out "MMA" brawls on the Filipino local channels, but that too is getting old!
So, what's left?  I can take it or leave it when it concerns sports, but I will watch a Manny Pacquiao fight when he's on!
Now I'm hooked on those "TeleNovelas," Filipino and Korean Drama/Love story TV series as they're called here! I do understand the Tagalog language fluently!
At night though, I watch all of my favorite U.S and some Foreign shows that I've download from the movie torrent websites!
Sorry for slightly going Off Topic!??? :o ;)

I just know you guys can thank me.  Why?  Because if I had not gone and paid extra to ensure that I could get the game on ASN, I just know it would not be happening on TV5 and I would not be seeing the game except maybe streaming.
Whatever floats your boat.

If it's on TV5, I wonder if it will be in Tagalog or Taglish?  ???

Wow! My first time watching the Superbowl "Live" (on our 55" LED TV I bought from Abenson just before Xmas) in the Philippines after 16 years and it's free, not PPV from our local "Royal Cable" provider in our area of Sta Rosa, Laguna, NCR of Luzon! Great reception too!
Now watching the game on TV5 from the start of kick off! Pretty good coverage!
Commercials are in Taglish, no U.S. commercials!
BTW, Fox Sports on my Firebox browser did not work,
they detected my out of the U.S. IP address!
Now 2nd period 3:12 on the clock, Seattle -22, Denver - 0  :o
Now watching Bruno Mars at half time!

I got tired of watching the game at 29-0 and I don't have a preference so here I am now.  Going to head over to Las Pinas City in a few minutes earlier than I had planned.  I was checking the game out on both channels and I noticed that TV5 is showing the ASN feed.  I can't believe the difference in the quality of the picture and sound though with SD vs HD when you can compare them upright.  When I switch it over to TV5 the picture looks blurry.  Well, Peyton Manning is seeing a blurred picture down on the field so it is all the same.
Whatever floats your boat.

The most entertaining part of that game, for me anyway, was Bruno Mars at half time. His mom was a lovely lady from the Philippines and unfortunately passed away last year at only 55 years of age.
