A compound is when there is a property with more than one house on it.  Usually there is a wall around those houses for security reasons.  So, pretty much I live on the same property with Tina's family.  She bought the "back piece" with her ex.  They bit, at what can best be described as, a fancy hut.  The purchase she made made the proper sorta an L in shape.  The family house sits square center on their piece of land.  Goes back maybe 15 meters.  and is about 10 meters wide.  Then our property is about 15 meters wide and goes back and additional 10 meters.  So our house is behind her family's home, as well as the next door neighbor.  We built a new 2 story concrete structure home that filled it all the property that went behind the neighbors house then up to her old "hut".  Then we tore that down and extended it the remaining way.  Built the foundation so we can go up a few more floors if we ever desire, but doubt it will ever happen now that Tina is is focused on us moving to the USA inside of 3 years.  So we'll see.

If her mom is paying the electric...she doesn't hate her daughter.  She might have a character or personality that might be difficult to deal with, but paying someone's electric is a huge thing here.  Even by US/Canada standards, electric is expensive here.  I pay about the same to cool my 1200 sq ft home as what I was paying to cool my 2500 sq ft home in Michigan.  So you get the idea.  Then all the other electric used.  The bills can get high.  This last month we got an electric bill for over 8,000.  Granted, a lot of that was Tina turning on her two deep freezes due to all the catering jobs she had as well as all the kitchen equipment(kitchenaid mixers and processors along with the two commercial meat slicers and more) she was using.  Think she had 5 gigs with over 250 heads in the month with about 8 more with over 100 heads.  Then she does a lot of decorating.

So she'll have the hot glue gun plugged in as well as other electric tools to create all that decor for events.  Then the washing machines get a lot of work after every event doing the cleaning of all those table clothes/runners/chair covers/wraps and all the rest.  So that played a big part in the bill getting that big...but still, talking over $160 USD for electric in a month.  Usually around $90 or a touch less.

But she can't speak to me in a voice chat for very long. She keeps giggling as if she can't believe i am a real person. So far, i've just been a face in music videos and in private talking videos (which are just for her), and in photographs, and, i've just been words on her phone screen. Now, it's getting MORE personal with live voice chats and she has major trouble speaking with me live. She keeps giggling and hanging up on me...is that a good sign? lol She's insisting we keep on texting because she's too shy to deal with speaking live. In chat we discuss everything and anything . Voice chat, she giggles and hangs up. I wish i knew what was going through her mind. I am not used to these kind of women.I am used to city women who'll stare you down lol.

Hi Robbie

That kinda rings alarm bells for me.  You have told us how eloquently she has been able to converse with you by text, answering 50 odd questions etc., yet she is unable to speak to you.  That might have seemed OK a few months ago when you first starting chatting, but don't you think by now, she should be able to talk to you.  This may seem crazy, but it has happened before or so I've read on some forums, that the person that is doing the texting is not the same person that is sharing photos, or failing to speak with you face to face on line.  I think I'd be tempted to test this out, by maybe having her come on line, but text you whilst you're watching.  You don't have have to make it look like a test.  Maybe say to her that you appreciate that she finds it difficult to talk, but at the same time, you just love looking at her, so can she text you while you're watching her.

No, she is the same one texting me, i am 100% sure of that. I am not being scammed here. Thanks for the concern.

Even when i sent her money, i asked her for an unexpected request for a selfie with of her holding a dated handwritten, thank you note. And her, there, she's such a character, she stuck it on her forehead which a big smile of her face.

As for the voice chats, we have just started to do only very recently (not "months ago").
We rarely voice chat because the connection is not always great (very choppy).
She's only using a mobile phone. And her two-year-old is running around screaming when he hears her ring tone at 11pm PH time.
I am politely on her case to get the boy into bed earlier at 7pm because they need 12 - 14 hours sleep at that age. I'm also getting her to STOP sleeping with him because he will have SERIOUS separation anxiety when she finally comes to Montreal if all goes well with her visa and all of that. People are saying she won't even be able to get her.
So we'll have to see.
I am thinking in my mind that she won't have any trouble in spite of what members, who are more in-the-know about Pinays traveling, are saying.

There is "something" extremely special about our whole meeting that seems very...destined to be. And then, how it all bloomed and keeps getting stronger. When i wasn't even looking for, or wanting, another GF, especially one who is considerably younger than me.

To be honest, i had seriously prayed for this to happen - and it's happening - so, it's really spooky in a very comfortable way. She is everything i had prayed for. The 'power of attraction' is amazing

I, at first, even rejected her FB friendship and it was i who later re-contacted her and asked her to by my FB friend.

Since i wrote how she giggles and hangs up, we've had a couple of really nice voice chats, one, one morning when she woke up (still in bed), and a few more, after i had seriously pointed out to her the importance of actually talking with one another live. She gets it, now. I told her to just to imagine i am a voice in a video, and she is recording a voice message liek she 's done many times. It seems to be working.

She is VERY shy, though.
And she told me, months ago, that she has major shyness issues speaking to ANY foreigner (i thought it was just me but i made a mistake) because she's not very sure of her English grammar. But her accent is really nice. She doesn't badly mispronounce any words.
And now, i am learning Tagalog just to show her how bad someone can sound.
I had to really, really compliment her heavily and make her feel comfortable with voice chatting
She just has to get her little boy in bed earlier so she's not too tired when we CAN voice chat.

Her whole family seems to think that any Pinay involved with a foreigner is an effing "BLEEP" - in it for the money. So she was not lokign to meet a foreigner for a relationship. We wer just talking about music, at first.
We had no idea this would bloom into a long-distance "relationship" LOL and it really bugs me to be in this freeking situation because any time i heard of this sort of thing happening to others, i would roll my eyes in their sockets and think, "HOW STUPID!!"
But you know?...to many people, "cancer" is just a word - until it happens to them.
In my case, a long-distance-relationship is a compound word, like that, and now i see it's happening to me.
I wish i would have known how to record our first conversation just to capture that and keep forever. I was really genuine, sweet and innocent.

I just, kind of, want her, here, on my turf for a few months so i can, sort of, "test" her sincerity and motives. I will put her into some very tempting situations to watch what she does.
Most guys i know would give up one of their nuts to be with this girl. She is ALL THAT, at least, in my eyes and in all the eyes of her many male admirers who like and love her FB photos and comments - but none of them know about her kids and her judgemental family.

I do sincerely thank you for expressing your views.

She only buys the high quality stuff for the table and chair fabrics.  She had most of those chair wraps before I arrived 6 years ago and they are all still bright white.  She understands the "pay more now to save more later/big picture".   Just about everything she has for tools to cook with to the decorating items are all upper quality and reusable.

I was just thinking of the laundry costs, actually. Sounds costly.

In the youtube videos i posted, people are using homemade bicycle-powered washing machines like as shown in a 1960s Gilligan's Island episode. I am pretty sure that one episode from the TV sitcom has spread around the world. Or maybe, that idea was already being used before the sitcom aired. I can't find the actual episode on youtube of Skipper doing the laundry. I vaguely remember that episode. I'm a frugal man. I'd make one if i was there and save that glorious moolah, and stay fit.
I think they were all talking turns peddling the make-shift bike. The Professor always came up some with resourceful gadgets.
