Want To Live Cheaply In A Remote But Beautiful Area, Living in Palawan
Try Palawan, both the capital city Puerto Princesa and Narra the real rural place where i live are very inexpensive to live. If pushed $500 a month will keep you alive with dignity. The hospitals in Puerto are quite adequate.
In Narra we depend on one very good private clinic which is inexpensive and surprisingly skilled, but you will die if you needed life saving help since the poor road out is 80kms and not used much at night.
Finding a wife should be easy and pleasant, and rent is us$100 per month or less. But services and activities are zero so you have to just stay alive, love the folk and the incredible beauty, grow something to keep occupied. Don't look for a supermarket. Be happy if you are lucky enough to find a well stocked sari sari, (general store) store. AR
