Mandaluyong is a heart-shaped, 26-kilometer tract of land lying seven kilometers southeast of Manila and eight kilometers, west of Pasig. To the south lies Makati, to the northwest San Juan, and to the northeast Quezon City

Mandaluyong is now considered one of the most urbanized areas of the NCR, a business and commercial center like the cities of Makati and Pasig.

Buses, jeepneys, taxis, and tricycles bound for Mandaluyong are available in any parts of Metro Manila.

Amado T. Reyes Parks and Garden and Jose Rizal Monument [City Hall Compound] A mini park suitable for strolls and picnics.
Dambana ng Kabataan [Maysilo Circle] A statue of a Filipina surrounded by children.
Ibon ng Kalayaan at Dambana ng Kagitingan [Maysilo Circle] A symbolizing the independence of the nation.
Kaban ng Hiyas [Maysilo Circle] This institution houses historical collections belonging to private and public groups. Paintings and other artworks are being displayed to promote cultural and historical awareness.
Liberation Marker or Liwasan Katubusan [Gen. Kalentong St.] This monument was constructed in memory of all who died fighting the Japanese dufing World War II.
Tatlong Bayani Monument [A. Bonifacio St.,] Bgy. Hagdang Bato Itaas The monument commemorates the Mandaluyong heroes in the Revolution of 1896. Festivities are held here every 29th of August.
William James Shaw Shaw [Blvd., Cor. Wack Wack] This statue was built to commemorate the founder and first president of the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.
Dambana ng mga Ala-ala [Maysilo Circle] Built in memory of the gallant sons and daughters of Mandaluyong.
Edsa Shrine [Edsa cor. Shaw Blvd.] A monument to the Virgin Mary, believed to be the protector of those who participated in the People Power Revolution of 1986.
San Felipe Neri Church [Rev. C. Aglipay cor. Boni Avenue] Like other Catholic churches in the Philippines, this one was run by Spanish friars. It was the site of bloody encounters between Filipino revolutionaries and Spanish soldiers.
Wack Wack Golf & Country Club [Bgy. Wack Wack Greenhills] Internationally renowned for 1 s impressive golf course.
