MANDALUYONG CITY
Area and Location
Mandaluyong is a heart-shaped, 26-kilometer tract of
land lying seven kilometers southeast of Manila and
eight kilometers, west of Pasig. To the south lies
Makati, to the northwest San Juan, and to the
northeast Quezon City
.
Geographic Profile
Mandaluyong is now considered one of the most
urbanized areas of the NCR, a business and
commercial center like the cities of Makati and
Pasig.
How to Get There
Buses, jeepneys, taxis, and tricycles bound for
Mandaluyong are available in any parts of Metro
Manila.

This monument was constructed in memory of all who
died fighting the Japanese dufing World War II.
Tatlong Bayani Monument

Bgy. Hagdang Bato Itaas
The monument commemorates the Mandaluyong heroes in
the Revolution of 1896. Festivities are held here
every 29th of August.
William James Shaw Shaw

This statue was built to commemorate the founder and
first president of the Wack Wack Golf and Country
Club.
Dambana ng mga Ala-ala
[Maysilo Circle]
Built in memory of the gallant sons and daughters of
Mandaluyong.
Edsa Shrine

A monument to the Virgin Mary, believed to be the
protector of those who participated in the People
Power Revolution of 1986.
San Felipe Neri Church

Like other Catholic churches in the Philippines,
this one was run by Spanish friars. It was the site
of bloody encounters between Filipino
revolutionaries and Spanish soldiers.
