Area and Location
Pateros is situated in the northern bank of the Pasig River. It is bounded on the south by Taguig, on the east by Pasig and Taguig, on the west by the Pateros River, on the north by the Pasig River, and on the northwest by Makati.
Geographic Profile
Pateros is highly suited for urban development due to its flat terrain and good internal and external drainage. About 63 percent of its land is used as a residential area. About 27 percent is agricultural land. The rest are taken up by the commercial and business district.
How to Get There
Buses, jeepneys, taxis, and tricycles bound for Pateros are available in many parts of Metro Manila.

Alfombra Slippers Slipper manufacturing is one of the specialties of the people of Pateros. Store outlets are along M. Almeda and B. Morilla Streets.
Balut Making A very famous industry that was handed down from generation to generation. Balut makers mostly come from Aguho.
