Pagpapakilala

(Have you experienced introducing people? Whose name did you say first? What did you say in making the introduction? What did you say when you were introduced?)

(Courteous and correct expressions are also necessary in making introductions. Here are six important things to remember when ntroducing someone.)

(In introducing a man to a woman, always say the name of the woman first.) "Evelyn, siya si Michael Manlapig, kapitbahay ko. Michael, si Evelyn Bonavente, kaibigan ko." (Evelyn, this is Michael Manlapig, my neighbor. Michael, Evelyn Bonavente, my friend.)

(In introducing a younger person to an older person, say the name of the older person first.) Manalo." (Grandmother, I want to introduce my boss, Mr. Torrenueva. Mr. Torrenueva, this is my grandmother, Mrs. Manalo.)

(Introduce or mention first the name of the famous person.) "Engr. (Engr. Basadre, I'd like to introduce to you Rolly, my cousin.) "Inday Badiday, siya po si Litlit, ang batang naligaw.&quot (Inday Badiday, this is Litlit, the child whom got lost.)

In introducing the mother and the teacher, or the father and the teacher, always mention the name of the mother or the father.)

"Nanay, ito po si Bb. Santos, ang aking guro. Bb. Santos, ang aking ina... " (Mother, this is Miss Santos, my teacher. Miss Santos, this is my mother...) (Father, I want to introduce Mr. Villa, our principal. Mr. Villa, this is my father.) (If a friend is introduced to a group, say: "I would like to introduce to you Kristoffer, best friend." Then, Kristoffer, this is Marjun, this is Ciprianne, this is Tonton . . ." and go on until everybody is introduced.

(if your invited friend encountered your father or mother at home, immediately introduced your friend.) (Mother, this is Adela, my "kumare".) (Father, do you still remember Ombet? Ombet, you already know my Father, isn't it?) Naririto ang ilang dapat tandaan: (Here are other things to remember:)

Manalo. " (After the introduction, it is correct to say "How do you do, Evelyn." To an older person, you should say, "How do you do, Mrs. Manalo."

2. Ipakita o sabihin na ikaw ay nasisiyahang makilala ang ipinakikilala.< (Show or say that you are glad to meet the person.) 3. (Wait for the older person to offer his hand or her hand when being introduced, or the man should wait for the woman to offer her hand first. Shaking hands may also be omitted.)
(If you did not understand the name of the person being introduced, do not hesitate to say:
"I am sorry, but I did not hear your name."
Sikaping magpatuloy ang usapan pagkatapos maipakilala. (Try to keep the conversation moving after you have been introduced.)
