The CONNECTING CONJUNCTION  
     

Ang conjungciong panal-ot maó ang tigdogtong og mga pahayag, prase, clausula ug mga polong. Mabahin kining matanga sa panal-ot nga (1) tig-coordinár ug sa (2) tigsubordinár.
The connecting conjunction connects the ideas, phrases, classes and verses. It has two kinds the (1) coordinator and the (2) subordinator.

Tigcoordinar nga Conjungcion
Coordinator Conjunction

apan                     Pakaona si Mariel nianŕ apan ayaw niadto.
but                       Let Mariel eat that but not the other one.
apan unyŕ          Miadto akó kang Cathy apan unyŕ wâ siya didto.
but then         I went to Cathy but then she was out.                  
hinonoa      Ayaw kami itogyan sa kadaotan hinonoa lowasa kami.
but to     Do not bring us to the test but to deliver us from evil.
hinoon Angela ayaw  na lang pag-adto didto, hinoon pagtoón dihâ.
