House Insurance

Any ideas on how to approach house insurance in the Phills ?
Companies,  gotcha's,  costs ?

I did not need insure on any yet,  but now have one that probably should be with insurance.
- quake
- storm
- theft/damage
 
Do I need fire ?    Cement, metal and tile doesn't burn much.

I would like to know the answer to this too. Cebuana Hillier were advertising insurance on the internet for a particular price (I forget how much) but when I went to their office in the city they seemed to know nothing about it. However they said they would come to see me if I gave them my number... nope, no visit.

Most of those kind of companies seem to offer fire insurance with a measly 5000 peso payout. However I have seen banks such as BPI offering insurance, they might be able to help.

I found that Mapfre one of the many large international company has an office in nearby Cebu.
