Marriage statistics

The majority of marriages happen in May. Women are younger than men. Only 3% of marriages are to foreigners.

Big picture, the number of marriages are going down over the 10 year span.  Less and less are getting married.  I find that interesting.  Means nothing because it's i the Philippines, but in a way, it sends a signal to the government that more and more people are in relationships that are not marriage confirmed.  That is technically still against the law.

The dissolution of the family?  Or just people fed up with the outrageous costs of annulment in a country where divorce is outlawed?  Could be other things also of course.
