Hey Jack, we'll talk more about operating systems when you get here. Both Ubuntu and Mint are Linux based and great. I'm sure you can find an old laptop here for next to nothing and load one or the other OS. I used Ubuntu fgor a couple years and then gave the computer to the kiddo.
