US veterans in the Philippines in coronavirus vaccine limbo

As a military retiree I made the choice to live in the Philippines with the knowledge that I would not receive the things provided by the US government if I stayed in the US. The VA clinic was originally set up for Filipino WWII vets not us service connected retirees or vets who choose to move here. Why should we be treated different than people that choose to move to the Netherlands, Greece, France, etc.

As far as I understand, in the EU countries you mentioned, all legal residents, both national and foreign, will be vaccinated by the health service of the country they are resident in.
As for the UK, the vaccinations are/will be provided free for all who are on the panel of (registered with) a NHS doctor, as will the actual medical procedure. There is a programme already in operation, with the most vunerable first, going on down to the least. So if you are a registered foreigner over 80, you will already have been "done", as the NHS is now on the second or third tier, vaccinating frontliners and those aged over 70.
But, like other foreigners resident in many parts of the rest of the world, "aliens" in the Philippines will be last in line (if ever considered) and probably be charged outrageous fees for the priviledge.
Stay safe all.

PS. I'll still get the jab no matter what it costs, as long as it's a "western" manufactured vaccine.

Agree some depending on the country they selected will have no problem others not so much. Again it was a choice by the individual. Moving here in 2010 I knew the options and made the choice. Moving here i knew I could not use Medicare but I am required to pay for it to maintain my retired military insurance, which I can use here.
I didn't ref UK, Germany or Italy previously because they have US Military Hosp/Clinics that military retirees may be able to use.
