Child boards

Why are they are they called child boards? :)

Hey Arlie, good question.!

The main boards cover the BIG topics but sometimes these lend themselves to needing a sub topic(s). For example, Driving & Vehicles in the Philippines is a very broad topic so 2 sub topics have been started covering more specific 4 wheel drive & motorbikes.

Because the 2 smaller boards come from the bigger they are frequently referred to as \'Mother & Child boards\"

The internet is not always the source of intellectual stuff. The \'groan\' factor exists here too ::)
