Dad passed
medic3500:
I've been quiet for awhile, many irons in the fire. The last two weeks have been a roller coaster. Dad who had been healthy up about doing his normal activities had a stroke which paralyzed his left side. He was transferred to a Skilled Nursing Facility where he was for two days and had another stroke after which we were told his time was numbered in days. We had him transferred to Hospice where he passed peacefully within a few days with mom and my sisters at his side.
My sisters have nothing but praise for the staff at hospice who were incredibly friendly and caring.
Anyone who likes supporting a good cause try donating to your local Hospice.
