Me personally, I enjoy camping on the beaches of California's scenic Pacific Coast of Hwy 1 in a huge dome tent or RV with parking, showers, CRs, snack shacks and surf fishing 24/7 for perch or strippers!

Nothing like that here in the Philippines unless you know someone who owns a private beach with cottages with all the amenities! I like my creature comforts!
It's just one of the reasons why we miss living in California, but staying in a cottage with all the amenities on the beach here in the Philippines and go fishing just from the shoreline or in a canopy covered boat (beer/finger food included) with mild 1 to 2 foot swells will also do it for me!  http://tinyurl.com/n82yamo

Nice pics!  From the background terrain and scenery you could've said these were taken in the US and I'd believe you.

My brother in law fishes with a hand reel out of the boat in E. Samar.  Pretty primitive but it works!

Most were pics from the US.  Only a select few in the last link contained pics from the PH (the bankas and palm trees gave them away)   ;)  :)

jjcabgou,

This may interest you since you brought up the topic about fishing! I was just curious and I did a Google search of fishing places in the Province of Laguna and this came up, but really didn't research any further as to what's available fishing wise in Laguna, which isn't too far from where you live in Tagaytay! I may check it out eventually!
