Anyone have a condo or apartment for rent in the Makati or close by area? Need something that sleeps 5.  I know I can find one via all the normal websites, but I would prefer to support someone on the forum if possible.

Thank you,
Tony

How close you need to be to Makati?  I know a place (maybe) in an office building that rents apartelles on the top couple of floors and from what I think, they are reasonably priced.  The location would be in Parañaque on Dr A Santos Ave in San Isidro which is about three kilometers from SM BF Parañaque which is about halfway between the BF one and SM Sucat.  If you pull it up on Google Earth or whatever and look for Waltermart Sucat (not the Bicutan one up SLEX).  The apartelles are in the building next to Waltermart. The name of the side street is Kabesang Segundo. Right on that corner.  SM and other stores in either direction.  Plenty of jeeps and FX on that highway all stop at Waltermart.  Along with taxi cabs.

No, I don't get a cut on it but I know the area there is pretty decent.  In my opinion anyway.
Whatever floats your boat.

Bud,
I will take a look on the maps for that area and let you know. Is there Korean restaurants and malls nearby within walking distance?

Thank you,
Tony

Waltermart is right next door.  Not a huge mall.  Has three floors though.  The overhead pic below will show you the size.  MTF Bldg has a red outline.  Waltermart is the large building next to it.  Several eateries in it and several in the area.  Only other malls are SM Malls about 3 km in either direction.  FX to either one of them is 14 pesos one-way per passenger.  Then there are jeeps.  Or as I mentioned previously.  Taxi.

No, it is nothing like Makati.  Malls all over the place and a lot of new buildings. The only reason I mentioned it was because of the cost in relation to Makati.  If you will be watching your pesos and this isn't out of your way, it would be something to think about.  MTF is a clean building and I am pretty sure it was built in only the last few years.  If it wasn't, then they had remodeled it extensively and completely but I don't remember seeing it before they were winding down construction going on there.  Has offices, apartelles, a gedunk on the first floor and a 7-11 on the first floor outside.  The building has a guard on duty 24-7 at the front door.  Other entrance secured after hours.

Just type in MTF Building Paranaque and you can get the link to do a 360 at ground level.

Whatever floats your boat.
