WB,

133.33 php per sq meter is a fantastic price, sure can't find that in my area.

Chuck,
Very funny! I don't really know how far I can spit!
Anyway, I don't make it a habit, unless I don't like my neighbor! ??? :o ;)

bigrod:
Art.

I can't spit very far, 2-3 steps from my property line to their house.  Reminds me of San Francisco, CA.

BudM:
Well, it doesn't matter now anyway.  She doesn't like the looks of the house.  I think though it has to do with the distance.  Besides, I thought it was bigger before Chuck pointed it out.  Anytime I even talk about anything in Cavite or Laguna I get the business about how far away it is.  At least I got her talking this time about the Crown Asian homes in Valenza in Sta Rosa.  She likes those and the prices on those aren't too bad.  The thing is, 3m I would not mind dropping at the current time.  If I didn't like it, be easy to sell, or rent, or something.  If I lost it or some on it, no big deal.  Going with something closer to Metro and probably paying double, it will take me at least a couple of years to think about.

Looks like I will be stuck for a while just as I thought before in a condo in Paranaque for at least a year.  But, maybe in a year I can come up with something more to my liking and with more room even if a rental.  Of course, I could maybe take a good look at getting one or two adjoining units of a condo in metro, as some have done, and then take a look at where wildbill is down in Laiya Batangas getting himself dirt cheap land.  I need to tell one of my friends, from where I used to work, about Laiya too.  She grew up in Quezon province in a place that looks to be within 15 miles of Laiya and I think she and her husband are discussing retiring pretty soon.  In fact, the more I think about it, the more inclined I am to see about getting some of that land whether for my personal use or not.

Bud,
Just a though or a "lite bulb moment"! How about Global City? Are you near there? I've never been there, but read and heard great things about the place, if one likes Inter-City High Rise style of living!
You'll probably need at least say P5 to P10 million minimum to get into anything decent or affordable there! ???
