Cebu dwellings on the water?

I know this post is not in the right place... but I looked (really) and did not see a better place.

So... I saw the news story about a fire in a shanty town on stilts in Manila Bay... and I was wondering if there are any areas around Cebu with dwellings (shanty or otherwise) built on the water?     

MANILA, Philippines (AP) Officials say a fire that swept through a sprawling squatters’ colony on Manila Bay’s rim Friday May 11, 2012, has left two people missing and some 10,000 others homeless....

Many of the residents lived in shanties on stilts. Officials say people left homeless have been evacuated to a nearby sports complex.

Hi,
Do you happen to have a link from that story?  I see AP it put out but that was back in May.  A couple of months prior to that I was out behind City Hall in Cavite City and saw a whole bunch of what they appear to be describing and I am wondering if that could have been part.  Although, I find it hard believe there was 10,000 squatters living in what I saw.  Maybe I did not see all of it.

Let me clarify that Art since there are some pictures there.  I am talking about the link to the fire on Manila Bay.  Since Cavite City is on Manila Bay, I was curious if it was the same ones that I saw when I was out behind the Cavite City Hall.  I appreciate the trouble you go to Art and thanks for including me on the list on that other post mentioning your forum friends.  Yeah, I am a newbie but the "Bud" you mentioned was me, right?
