† I received my earnings statement for Social Security on 6 January for tax year 2009, it came snail mail.† Thought some fellow taxpayers would be interested.†  Dick†

Wow, so mail does arrive here in the RP.

Dick,

I take it you have your RP address listed on your SS account?

Do you have to pay taxes on Social Security?† Don\'t they have it where you can go to there site and just run it off?

Not if you do not earn over a certain amount. Also people who do not make more than the minimum tax deduction for a single person or married couple who both have US SS numbers do not even have to file from what I have been told but each circumstance may be different base on earned interest, pensions, etc.
