Pending divorce case

Hello guys!..I was applying a widow visa in the US embassy manila last month.They asked me many requirements as a proof of our marriage to my late hubby..one of the requirement is the past marriages of my hubby..my hubby marrieds 5 times..I was the fifth...he divorced 3 times in US and an annulment here in the Philippines.I discovered thru archives site that his second marriage is still on pending case(on my understanding it is not yet decided)..I'm so heartbroken to learn about this..was this means I'm an illegitimate wife?..how come on the third marriage it was decided?i wonder how should I fix this?..please guys guide me what to do..your opinions are really appreciated..God bless us all...thanks lar.

Don't give up yet.  Many times the online archives are not 100% accurate and up to date.

Maybe his 2nd was in fact complete, if not, it would not surprise me that when he was married the 3rd time the court did not do a search for prior marriages.

The US does not have a central marriage registration system like the Philippines does.

Here's a couple of suggestions:

1) Find out what agency keeps divorce records. For example, in Arizona it's the Clerk of the Superior Court.  Call that agency and see if you can talk to them about getting a copy of your late husbands divorce decree.

or

2) Search google for some kind of "Court Services" business in the town where the divorce took place.  Contact them and find out how much they would charge to do the leg work for you.
