If I remember correctly they were giving you a hard time one year in the past when you wanted to register it, glad things smoothed out.

Yes it was when all older vehicles were required to have the air cons converted from R12 to 134. Had it done. Cost P3300. Never worked as good since.

Art, just a re(tired) Fil-Am:
Ever since I worked out all the bugs out over the years from both of our vehicles, a '79 Corolla and 2006 Innova, they've been pretty much low maintenance.
Even though my '79 Corolla will be 40 yrs old next year and will be registered under LTO's 'Vintage Law' (driven weekends/holidays only), it's OK by me since it's only a weekend and holiday driver where as our 2006 Innova is driven 2 to 3 times a week on the average only around town. I don't do any out of town driving, we rent a vehicle with driver for that.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up Art well it sounds like I might have to get rid of my 1989 Mitsubishi Lancer they started giving me a hard time last year and I had to have someone else other than the LTO crew (fixer helped) get my car serial numbers but these guys still work for the LTO.  My engine it burns no oil but the car is in sad looking shape for sure, well I can't afford another car so once they say no more I'll sell it and get used to public transportation until I turn 62 and get Social Security, I have no extra income for a brand new car.

I have heard of a Vintage registration, but don't have any hard facts.
