Guest House or Accommodation in or near Kalibo

Hello, Love the forum, but I think this will be a bit of a big ask.
Does anyone know of any reasonable priced place to stay in or near Kalibo?

I will be staying with my girlfriend, who is from not far, but she has no experience of hotels, and just by looking, I see the standards vary from scary dirty places, to very expensive villas and resort hotels... Ideally somewhere with private facilities that is clean, would be nice for a month June or July
As I said this is a long shot, I am British living in NY, and want to move there full time, or at least most of the time, but am looking for an initial base for a month or two..Thank you
