The love of a Filipina woman

(1/2) > >>

expatuk1947:
Back in 2001 i was a member of a dating site called Friendfinder. I had chatted online to several woman both in the UK and in Asia, i got the usual ones asking for money even in the UK!
I was about to log off from the site when a certain womans id caught my eye ! The only details were her location ,and her age I sent her a message and she replied ! We messaged each other for over an hour ! And we exchanged photos and letters, and this may sound silly to some but i fell in love with her even without actually meeting her ! And i also proposed to her over the internet ! And that was the start of 17yrs of marriage !
We married in the Philippines in 2002, and my wife later joined me in the UK!
This is where the love of a Filipina begins, Monday to Friday she would get up at 4am, prepare my breakfast, then prepare my uniform for work, and even comb my hair before i left home !
And in the winter when it had been snowing, she would throw warm water onto my vans windscreen and side windows
As i sat in the van defrosting the inside of the windscreen ! Then as i left for work she would get herself ready to go to work in the nearby Hospital ! One winter the snow was up to her knees but she still walked to work !
Then she would come home at 5.30pm and cook dinner !
Even today if we go shopping she lays my clean clothes out on the bed while im having a shower !
And when she goes to the local market to buy food she buys me doughnuts !
I truly am in Paradise and still with my very own Princess !

You are truly, truly blessed.  :) :) :) :) :) :)

One hears so many tales of internet dating scams, it brings joy to the heart to hear your tale of romance and love.

May you have many, many more years together.

Peter

PS Real, hot off the machine, "ring" doughnuts covered in sugar?   ;)

Steve & Myrlita:
Excellent to hear. Like you, I took a chance even hearing all the scam stories. Nov will be 12 years married.

Kurt:
Absolutely fantastic to hear, and I thought I was the only one with an angel. We were married in 1984 and next year I am being awarded the O.B.E. ( Over Bloody Eighty) and my wife will be 69 young. We are slowing down a fair bit, but I wouldn't change her for anything. You really live with the right Filipina woman.

I hear you.

I met Ester through an old school pen-pal club.  Snail mail.  Pre - internet.  We just celebrated our 25th of the second wedding.  I married the poor girl twice to make sure she wouldn't get away.  Once for my family and once for hers.
