Does anyone on the forum deal with NFCU on wiring or choosing pick up in person money in the Philippines. I've heard they will bank to bank money for $25.00 a transaction or they use Western Union for bank to bank or cash pick up for $14.50. What are the procedures for doing this.

Clarkee,
Not sure if you seen my reply but, you can set up an account online with WU and add your bank account information and do the transfer online for $3.99...that beats $14.50 & $25.00!

Hey Clarkee, you can also do bank transfers, and also direct-to-person international transfers for $3.99 with www.worldremit.com from anywhere. We've used them for a few years now. They're fast and reliable, with competitive exchange rates and a well sorted and easy-to-use website. Whatever, no worries.

Hi Hank,
I went and set up an account but it looks like you can only use a bank account transfer to Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Somaliland, UK, South Africa & Rwanda? The rest of the remaining countries have various methods of payment. My preference is transfer by bank account and I don't see Philippines on that list? Correct me if I'm wrong, 8)
