Disney in the Philippines?

Not sure if this is the right forum but in the States I have read several different conflicting articles about Disney building a theme park in the Philippines. One article said it was a done deal to be built at Clark and others said it could be built at other locales. Any word from the local News if there is any truth to this and if it is, do you think it is viable?

I'll believe it when I see it.  Too close to China's disney world and just don't see one here getting the foot traffic to make the investment worth while.  I could see them going Aussie land with the next one.  Maybe Thailand if they want one in the SE Asia area.  That way people could go by car to get to it. 

Would love it, just don't see the practicality of it.

Also, according to the site below, it was a hoax.
