Globe p10 disappeared within minutes

I know others have mentioned that they have had load disappear from them but it has never happened to me before today, I always used Smart before. This afternoon we bought a new Globe LTE sim for p40 to try out in my wife's iphone 5S, when the sim was put in I made sure the data was off first, then my wife loaded a p300 card and it said we had p301, within minutes I checked the balance again and all it had was p291, so somehow p10 disappeared from our load, I immediately pulled the sim out of that phone and will try it in my internet device instead, can anyone explain how this might happen?
