The technology relies on metal micro-wires embedded in each individual thread and a rechargeable battery pack. When activated, an electric current flows through the wires, slightly raising their temperature and causing special pigments in the thread to change color.

Or, alternatively, wear the same shirt all the time and let it look like you're wearing different shirts........ :P

gonna be huge,  nice find about this one.   anyone know what if any companies are trying to release a product about this ?

This will save me and a lot of people a lot of money and may put many companies out of business, imagine buying only enough shirts to last until wash day and just changing the color as David so wisely wrote. I know that now I buy many shirts in many different colors to change off everyday, what a savings if they do not make the changing ones too expensive.
