I met my wife on a website called tagged in 2010 got married 2012. so far so good she has been with me here in the us for almost a year now..

Sorry for the delay Gray Wolf, had family visiting. All my friends have been going to the Philippines since the early 80s and met their ladies during these days. Some have separated from their original ladies and as is usual have settled on another Filipina. But none actually met through chat rooms. When single they would visit the islands up to three times a year. Many girls on the ground here.

I certainly agree most newbies would internet sites and chat rooms, but not all are comfortable in these forums.

If I could do it over, I'd do the same as your friends.   And I like to think I'd look up Gloria when we were both younger so I could have more total time with her!

I hear ya on that Gray Wolf!....I've told my asawa, who is 29 while I'm 55 that my only regret is not having my whole adult life with her.  We did not meet on line..... met when we were both working in Japan and neither of us ever looked back after she moved in with me.   We've been together 7 yrs strong ever since, married in 2010 right before my foray into Afghanistan, and I would not trade a thing....to quote Forrest Gump, "We go together like peas and carrots."  lol   Point is we get along so well it almost scares me, but she is easy to get along with and doesn't tell me what I can do or what to do, and vice versa...we just help each other "to do".   Yep, if I could grow old later with this one,  would be heaven, but always thankful for what I hope are more great years together.   By way, y'all gotta be heatin' up over there in the Bluegrass State by now....we're lucky if we hit 80 out here, and if so, it's very dry.   Have a good one.   

 Hey JD!  Gotta meet you some time....we live up in Anacortes.  We're down in Seattle at least monthly.
