Yaphet Kotto has passed away

I went to see Alien at the cinema way back around 1979. Parker was always a very memorable character.

I read that Yaphet was married to a filipina for many years and lived (and died) in Philippines. Anyone ever bump into him? Does anyone happen to know where he was living?
