Skype keyboard entries

My HSBC password was locked caused by some problem setting up the new Secure Key system. I now need to enter a new password and to do that get switched to an automated system, operators are not allowed to take a new number. This system asks me to enter the new password on the keyboard, but unfortunately does not recognise my entries either on the computer or on-screen keyboards. Is there something I need to enter in order to send simple keyboard responses?

This same problem occurs when you are asked to make a voice menu selection, select 1 for this.....select 2 to for that.... etc.

I have tried using a cell phone, but that doesn\'t work either.

My last option now is to find a land line and hope that works, if not I have lost my internet banking :(

Any reasonable suggestions would be appreciated.

It would be a long walk as the bank is in the UK and I am in the Philippines :)

The security people in the bank don\'t know of any way I can reset my password without a telephone that is capable of sending numbers from the keyboard. I haven\'t been able to try the PLDT overseas phone booth yet, but if that fails them maybe I will have to give all my security details to my brother in the UK and he can phone and pretend to be me.

Collin if the Bank is HSBC the Manila Branch may be able to help I used to have a hexagon account for wire transfers and L/C\'s etc the internet interrupted while the bank computer was sending a new log in pass code to me so I was locked out of the account the Manila Main Branch was able to reset it for me even though the account was in Hong Kong
