Taiwan grants ‘trial basis’ visa-free entry for Filipinos starting November 1

Another place guys and ladies can take their Filipino spouses on vacation.

--- Quote --- Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it would offer Filipinos visa-free entry for up to 14 days starting November 1.

In a release dated October 16, MOFA, however, clarified that the visa-free entry is only on trial basis up to July 31, 2018. It will be reviewed for further extension.

The ministry said the trial period intends to attract Filipino visitors to Taiwan for tourism and business purposes and to increase people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
