It will likely get rid of all of those sleazy website dating services for sure, because violating the Bill/Act aka the Anti-Mail Order Spouse Act will give those violating the Act heavy and harsh monetary penalties, including incarceration and or deportation!
Now, those wishing to meet people of the opposite persuasion for personal intimate companionship and or relationships will have to do it "the old fashion way", with "boots on the ground", if and or when this Bill 5572 will be passed by Congress, your title above says "passed", but are you sure? I haven't read the entire Bill yet.
Like most Bills it takes a while to be passed and implemented!

On further coinsideration this bill is a pure waste of time and money. The law is against the website owners - so they will simply outsource. Secondly the rule now will be never to admit you met your spouse on the internet.
There are surely more important issues for the Philippine Gov. to be considering.

The one who pushed this threw must not be thinking clearly I don't want to say this but it looks like a hate thing for sure It has been on the docket for 25 years why she wanted to put it to law now.

Just election time, something to get headlines and keep the Nationalist happy, most of the sites we consider dating sites are out of country and therefore will remain unaffected IMHO...how many times have you seen laws enforced here?

That's true like many things here  we could sit and name many for sure it prob would not be good for me to sit and name them but we can sit back and relax since we are already married...money talks here.right enforcement comes only if the matters go into the public eyes.

Edit by Steve: Fixed the quote.
