There are plenty of islands for sale here, but not much use to foreigners who can\'t own them. There are thousands of them around Palawan, just look out of the window when you fly over. The big problem with most of them is difficult access and lack of fresh water.

If someone\'s got the money for one of these islands $350,000+
Then access via a large boat and desalination won\'t be much of a hurdle

I\'m Filipino and I believe it\'s nuts not to allow non-Filipinos from owning the land they builkd their house or their factory on. In the first place, it\'s just impossible for non-Filipinos to bring tyhe land with them should they have other plans and go.
It\'s one of the bad things that has come out of misplaced nationalism. I hope this provision in the Constitution gets scrapped soon.
