Maybe it would be a good idea as members find out things on how to work this forum, that they add them here.

To start out let me try a step by step on how to add a photo that you have on your home computer.
First we would click on add file found below the box we type in.
Then our own computer selection of photos should come up and we click on one and it should then show the photo name in the box next to add file.
Then we would click on where in the post we want the photo to show, I just clicked in the bottom of the post, so hopefully it will come out where I placed it.
Then click on insert below and it should show attachment bracketed and the name of the photo.
Then hopefully when we submit the post it should show up but if not then we can edit the post and try again.
Did I leave anything out? If so please post it.
Also hopefully others will post hints and tips on how to work this new software so we all can learn.

Does this work?

Yep.  Still rather large, but for anyone\'s information, I had re-sized it down to 333 x 250.
Whatever floats your boat.

Yes, I\'m doing that maestro, but it won\'t work for me.
So, crunch time, I will ask Mrs Gee to take a look. Then .... I will sulk  :(  :(

I am not sure why it does not work for you. Maybe try another browser if you are using Internet Explorer and see if it works with say Google Chrome or FireFox and see if one of those will work. I have found that a lot of people still use IE and that it does not work as well with many of the forum software out there.

IE definitely is not very Forum-friendly.  I agree with Mr Lee about the browsers.  When someone first showed me Firefox, I wasn\'t sure about it.  Now I don\'t know how I lived without it!   :)   I like simple and this fit the bill for me.  Google Chrome is excellent, too.

I have no idea why you can\'t download photos.  I had no issues.  But I\'m still learning, too.  Maybe one of us will run across something to offer.  Keep trying!   :)

I just wanted to copy and paste a You Tube URL to my post, but instead the video clip ended up getting posted!
I know how to post pictures and videos, but this one didn\'t do what I wanted to do!
And within an hour before I could go back and edit my post, it said I could no longer edit my post!
Why so quick that I couldn\'t edit my post or is there a limit how many times one can edit their OP?

It\'s set for one hour.  You must have just missed the deadline.  :(   There is also a ten minute time limit while making any edit.

All members have the ability to delete their own post if no replies have been posted.  In other words, you have a few seconds (uncontrollable by me) in which to delete your inadvertantly submitted stupid, arrogant, hostile or ranting post before it is too late.  Once someone replies, you\'re stuck with it.

Think, and proof-read your post before you click \"Submit\"   It will save us all a lot of [strike]heartburn[/strike] needless work.   ;)   :)

Hi Jack,

You just confirmed my question! Good to know that I can delete or edit my inadvertantly submitted stupid, arrogant, hostile or ranting post before it\'s too late!

Figure this is the place to ask my question.

I have looked and cannot find where to set the messages in newest date first order, rather than oldest first.  Can someone instruct me on how this can be accomplished?

Salamat.
