Glo,

The loss of a parent is heart-wrenching.
May you survive the next few days as best you can,
with the loving embrace and support of your husband, Jack.
My condolences to you also, my friend, on your loss.

Graham

Yesterday was the funeral service and burial of our Tatang.  My brother in law reported there were so many people attending they couldn't count them all.  Obviously Tatang was loved by everyone.

As family and friends paid their last respects to this fine gentleman, many placed small items in his coffin.  They included his favorite jacket, his favorite towel, his favorite pomade, some cologne (he always liked to smell "gwapo" for the girls), a pair of slippers for walking in God's house, and a custom 3-piece walking cane with a brass horse head handle and a small container of Emperador Brandy inside, a gift from me during our last visit.

Vaya con dios, Tatang!  You were the best Tatang anyone could have!
