Not sure who would want to leave the Philippines for a long vacation but more power to them.  I don't mind short ones and eventually, I think I will feel like taking a vacation back in the U.S. maybe in two to four years.  If so, I know if I would not want to go there for more than two weeks.  I don't know if I could do as long as a week and a half.  Costa Rica is on that list and maybe I will check it out for a short trip.  That place has been on my mind for a back up just in case anything goes wrong here.
Whatever floats your boat.

Hola Gringos! My dos amigos Lee2 and Bud,
Yo soy hablo Espanol?  Me, yo hablo poquito (a little)! Just a few dirty words I picked in Tijuana, Mexico just across the U.S. border, like I did in Mexico, Pampanga, Philippines, but only in Kapampangan, which I can't even speak or understand! :o ::) ;) Joke lang!

You know anyone planning on smuggling them?

Or shall I say, would need to smuggle them?

I like the fact that some offers free visas for 90 and 183 days! Something to consider when planning a vacation out of the Philippines, but would need to know the climate conditions of each country! I would not go to any of those countries when it's hot and or humid like the Philippine's extreme hot summer months!

Just showing my frustration with trying to get my 72 year old nanay to the US to meet some of her grand and great-grandkids.  Gone through the tourist visa process several times, denied.

The reason I posted the topic is because over the years I have read on forum many times guys wishing to know what countries they could take their ladies on vacation. For most of you they will mean nothing but for the few who would like to show their ladies some of the world it might mean something.

Wonder if there's a list for Europe?  Filipinas/nos I know seem to be more interested in Europe and never mention Central or South America.

But........a foreigner trying to bring his girlfriend on vacation to any country even with the "free visa policy" from DFA, still has to past muster or what is known as the 2nd inspection under the scrutiny of the airport BI officials, where their concentration is on the look out for human traffickers and those officials who got out of bed from the wrong side and didn't have their morning coffee and or breakfast before going to work, just may not have their heads on straight to make rational logical decisions!
Just saying........but it does happen often where airport BI officials deny foreigner's girlfriend from boarding their flight on suspicion of human trafficking and or just on a whim, just because they can! So, good luck to those who try! Some make it through the hassle and some don't, but if it does happen, the foreigner better keep his cool and not argue with the airport BI officials, because they can detain the foreigner in the BI detention center, put him on their blacklist and be deported after filing charges with the nearest main BI regional office which ever airport the incident occurred!
Just go to the link below and find the articles concerning foreigners bringing their girlfriends on short vacations out of the Philippines!

Yeah, I have been thinking for a while now of what kind of hassle she might be in for when eventually I want to take a vacation back across the pond and she goes to the U.S. embassy to get a visa.  I doubt that it will matter that she has three passports that have already expired with a bunch of entry and exit, and visa stamps in them.  I guess going in through the southern border would probably be easier after all.  Thanks for the info on those that you posted Lee.  I might need more of it for reference then I originally thought.

Besides the countries with the free visa policy from the DFA, it is only possible if the Filipino tourist, spouse, fiancee and or their children to go to other countries not listed as long they meet all of the immigration travel visa requirements!
