Tip about the forum "View the most recent posts on the forum"

Some of you may not know this, I only realized it not long ago myself because of its placement and small lettering, almost at the bottom of the index page, AKA the Home Page http://www.livinginthephilippines.com/forum/index.php
in the "Forum Stats" section, there is a link for "View the most recent posts on the forum" That makes it easy to see all the most current posts if you just joined, once you have already read, posted or have "Marked all Messages as read" or just want to go back to something from before.

How many of you already knew this? How many of you did not know this? Just curious since I have been a member since Feb of 2009 and I did notice it until the last month or so.

Yup I do too Tom, thank you for your comment, but what if a member should want to go back and comment or reread a post from days ago, or a new member who just joined would like to see posts from the past from before they joined, that is the reason I pointed out the other link.

I guess it just depends on how each individual uses the forum.

This is good information Lee.  I had not noticed it was there.

I never noticed that, it sure will make it easier to find things on the board, I usually just open up another tab for each discussion so I don't lose my place but this will work, also shows who's online.

I use the "show unread posts since last visit" when I check the forum on my laptop.

However, if I happen to check the forum on my cellphone, I am never logged in, so I use the "View recent posts" link.

It actually shows up in very large lettering on my cellphone. It stands out from everything else surrounding it.
