Manila VA Clinic Travel Payments Benefits To Be Terminated

For those Veterans who uses the VA facility in Manila, go to the link below and read up on the issues of travel payment benefits being terminated.
I myself have VA benefits, but have yet to use the VA facilities in Manila. I'm sure there are members on here and or all over the Philippines who do and are more familiar with these issues concerning Veterans obtaining health care at the VA Clinic in Manila and also rumors that the VA Clinic in Manila will eventually be shut down completely.

What the heck are travel benefits anyway?

Pretty much what it sounds like.  The VA pays foy the transport costs to and from the VA.  Planes, taxi, mileage, ferry, etc.
