U.S. Social Security increase, NOT
« on: December 30, 2016, 10:24:17 PM »
I got my SS statement a few days ago, basically the measly increase we will get next month will be taken away by the increase in Medicare cost, thus here we go again, yet another year with no increase in our SS income. :(
:) Happily married since 1994 & live part of the year in Cebu and the rest in S. Florida.

I only got the Dec SSA statement and didn't see any changes for Jan 2017 on their website with the .03 increase for 2017.
Never mind, I just took a look and for my next Jan 2017 payment and it's still the same amount, but with an increase change for Medicare now at $106 from the old $104.90 a month.
