American Football aka NFL
« on: August 06, 2018, 03:07:09 AM »
Hello,

I have traveled to the Philippines many times starting in 1985 with the US Navy.  I am now 80% disabled according to the VA with an active duty injury.  I am planning on using the VA facility at the Embassy in Manila and would welcome any advice as I will be moving there in October.  However, my main concern is watching my Raiders.  Having grown up just outside Oakland, CA I bleed Silver and Black.  Can anyone tell me how I will able to watch my boys play.  I have heard the NFL Pass isn't available there.  I don't mind at all watching on my laptop if I have to then hooking it up to the TV.  The season is upon us and I really would hate to miss any games.  Please advise.  Thanks very much.

my main concern is watching my Raiders.

There might be a little delay,  but once you acclimate to the slower pace here that will probably no longer matter.

There are tons of direct sites.  A quick Duck search and you will find several sites dedicated to disseminating sports shows.

Youtube.com
Bitchute.com
Vimeo.com
D.Tube
Real.video

Then there are various options like the usenet or peer to peer.

Hope this helps

JJ knows the answer to that.  He bleeds NFL.  I like MLB myself and have no problem picking up quite often the Yanks on FOX Sports.
Whatever floats your boat.

I have purchased the NFL package for the last 5 years here, and have watched even more football than ever before.   I get every game, either live or recorded.    Not sure we can post stuff like that here, but if you send me a message I can send you the link.

I know of no rule saying you can't post a link to a site that offers football

No problem to post the link JJ.  Useful info for those interested.  I won't be watching until the anthem situation is finalized.

To clarify what the rules are about posting links, links can be posted as long as the poster or their friends have no financial interest in the item the link is for and the member posting the link is not a New Member. New Members are not allowed to post links since we do not know enough about new members to know what their motives for posting links might be, but of course, if a new member posts a link for say a major corporation such as a hotel or airline, then it would not be likely they have a financial interest in that major corporation but if the link was for say a privately owned bed and breakfast, then they or their friends might have a financial interest in said bed and breakfast, how would we the moderators be likely to know, thus we do not allow those types of links.

If there are any NFL fans, here is the link.   This package is only available to those that live outside of the USA:

I stream online, I got an unlocator account and then use the ESPN App or watch live on Directv either thru my brother's or sister's account in the states.  I'm a college football fan, unfortunately most games are played in the middle of the night here or early Sunday morning here in the Phils..

So I usually watch the reairs on ESPN or surf youtube...
