30 day notice needed on quitting your PH job

My wife told me that she had to give 30 days notice if she quit her job. I thought it was 2 weeks, and that was just a suggestion. You could quit immediately if you wanted. Not so in the PH. 30 days is required by law unless there is abuse or a crime.
